Academy for Careers in Television and Film
The Academy for Careers in Television and Film (TvF) provides a bridge to higher education and meaningful preparation for careers in video/film production. In addition to rigorous academic coursework towards a Regents diploma, students at TvF take production courses for four years and have ample opportunities to participate in industry internships and hands-on work-based learning experiences. TvF’s program design rests on the belief that intensive career preparation and rigorous academic studies can complement and support each other, ensuring that students graduate with the skills and mindset that will ensure success in college and career.

Business Technology Early College High School (BTECH)
Business Technology Early College High School (BTECH) started in 2014 in Queens Village, NY with a strong partnership between the New York City Department of Education, CUNY, Queensborough Community College (QCC), SAP, and the Early College Initiative at the City University of New York. BTECH’s mission is to combine academic excellence with technical aptitude thus empowering students to be successful in our modern, information-based, global economy and community.
BTECH is an innovative, public high school that engages and provides students the opportunity to earn a high school diploma, an Associate in Applied Science (A.A.S) in Internet and Information Technology or Computer Information Systems. Additionally, students have the opportunity to participate in work-based learning experiences in the technology field to build career and 21st Century skills, Career experiences may include Work Based Learning (WBL), job site visits, internships, and career exploration opportunities.

City Polytechnic High School of Engineering, Architecture, & Technology is focused on preparing students for college and careers in Construction Management, Civil Engineering Technology, and Architectural Technology. Energy Tech High School offers students the opportunity to stay for up to six years, earning a high school diploma, an Associate degree—free of cost—and important industry training and credentials. The mission of HERO High (Health, Education, and Research Occupations High School) springs from the commitment of the partners, including Hostos Community College, Montefiore Medical Center and school staff to furthering social mobility for their students and the South Bronx community. The school focuses on preparing young people in professional employment within the field of healthcare. Students gain a rigorous liberal arts education emphasizing literacy across the curriculum, accelerated math and science, and work-based learning, and a supported entry to college and work through the Associate degree options in nursing and community health. The Manhattan Early College School for Advertising (MECA) is an innovative Early College and Career high school in New York City that offers an integrated sequence of high school classes, Associate degree courses, and workplace learning experiences. Over the course of six years in the program, students can earn a Regents Diploma and a free Associate degree from the Borough of Manhattan Community College (BMCC). In addition, students will have access to a series of industry-specific experiences designed to prepare students for entry-level positions in the field of advertising and media. Key to the success of the school is the strong partnership between BMCC, the Department of Education, the City University of New York, and industry partners from the American Association of Advertising Agencies.

Pathways in Technology Early College High School (P-TECH)
Pathways in Technology Early College High School (P-TECH) is a collaboration among the New York City Department of Education, the City University of New York (CUNY), New York City College of Technology (City Tech), and the IBM Corporation. P-TECH enables students to begin their college and professional lives more quickly and with more support than the typical school-to-work pathway. Graduates of P-TECH have the opportunity to earn an Associate degree and leave the school with the skills and knowledge they need in order to continue their studies or step seamlessly into competitive jobs in the Information Technology industry.

Port Richmond High School
Launched in the 2020-21 school year, Port Richmond High School now has two Grades 9-14/P-TECH programs, giving students the opportunity to earn a free Associate degree either in Computer Technology (A.A.S.) or in Liberal Arts and Science (A.S.) at the College of Staten Island. The P-TECH program at Port Richmond is the latest addition and the New York City network of Grades 9-14 schools and the first P-TECH on Staten Island. Port Richmond students in the Grades 9-14 program reflect the dynamic and diverse neighborhoods of New York City school districts. Students of all abilities will be accepted, and no tests are required to enroll in this program.
Through partnerships with Northwell Health and Sun River, students will also receive supports in developing their on-the-job skills through work-based learning, mentoring, and internships. The goal of the program is to combine high school, college, and industry experience to prepare students to be ready for competitive jobs in computing or medical fields.
